Who are you? What's with the name?
I am a fan translator of Chinese BL novels into English, going by E. Danglars. This is a reference to my favorite character from my favorite novel, Eugénie Danglars from the Count of Monte-cristo.
Ebook Policy
I provide ebooks in epub, pdf, and mobi formats for all completed translations. These ebooks are intended for personal download and use only. Do not create ebooks of your own using the text on the site, especially for incomplete translations.
Can I translate your translation into another language?
You may retranslate any of my completed translations, provided you are not making any money off of it, including but not limited to ad-revenue and donations. Please seriously consider consulting the original text, even if only in MTL, to get another perspective on it. Additionally, feel free to contact me with any questions about translation choices.
As mentioned, this applies only to completed translations; it does not currently apply to Tai Sui. Please do not retranslate it and do not ask me if you can retranslate it. I will reevaluate this decision when the novel and the translation are complete, and I may or may not choose to allow retranslations at that time.
Can I use your translation for something else?
Provided you make no edits to the text, feel free to use limited quotes of my translations for any other non-commercial purpose. By limited quotes I mean not exceeding one chapter in length at any one time.
If you are using a quote, I ask that you check the most current version posted to the website, as I do go through the text regularly to correct errors and refine translation choices.
I think I've found a translation error/typo.

I am always happy to have typos or mistakes pointed out, and also happy to answer questions concerning my thought process behind individual translation choices. However, I do not accept or welcome unsolicited offers of editing. Leaving aside typos and individual errors, the translations I post are final, fully edited versions.
Do you have a donation link?
These translations are purely non-commercial and for informative purposes only. I will on no account accept any payment for them. There will never be a Ko-fi, Patreon, or any other donation site associated with this website.
Will you translate [novel]?
Probably not. Do not send me unsolicited translation requests or recommendations. If I'm really at a loss, I will ask for recommendations, but not otherwise.
